February 1st, 2024, Dogwood State Bank and Community First Bank announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement to merge pending regulatory approval.
Dogwood is headquartered in Raleigh, NC and began with a mission to bring community banking back to North Carolina, redefining what it means to BANK LOCAL. Dogwood and Community First have similar values and their passion for customers, employees, and local communities allows for an even better combined company for both organizations.
